Arnaud NONO is, and Senior EDD Handler and K9 Instructor specialized in detection.
Passionate by dogs and a self-taught instructor since childhood, his conviction that dogs could be a major asset in the solving of security issues that face Cameroon and other neighboring countries, led him to create a company in this field and to carry out specialized training, particularly in K9 detection.
Training:
2017
◦ Training and participation to a workshop with his 2 dogs to the National Committee for the Fight against Drugs (CNLD) at the Prime Minister’s Office and he authored a project for the government for the creation of a K9 units ( dogs and handlers )specialized in the detection of explosives, drugs, weapons and other unlawful materials for the police, customs, and the Cameroonian armed forces).
◦ Creation of a security dog unit to secure the Kosan Crisplant plant in Limbe Cameroon (Those teams are still active on the field with successful result)
2018 – 2019
Mission as Senior EDD Handler for UNMAS, then Mentor in AMISOM FOB’s
2020
Establishment in Yaoundé of a K9 training center specializing in detection and training of demonstration dogs (Explosive and Improvised Explosive devices, Ivory/ pangolin scales and ammunition detection dogs, patrol, and intervention dogs)
Consultant for the establishment of a canine brigade in Senegal within the anti-terrorist unit.
2022
Consultant for the evaluation of many dogs in Burkina Faso and in Niger, Setting up of SOPs and training of teams.
